Ukhtabank is a small financial institution by Russian standards – it ranks 261st among Russia’s largest banks by net assets (as of 01.01.2011, by RBC.Rating); however, it is one the largest banks of the Komi Republic.
Ukhtabank was founded in 1991 (registration ¹1663). In 2002, Ukhtabank became a subsidiary of Bank Petrocommerce. In 2005, the Bank became a member of the mandatory deposit insurance system (registration ¹398 dated 11.01.2005). In 2006, the Bank obtained the status of an Associate Member of VISA International.
Ukhtabank is the authorized bank of the Government of the Komi Republic and is a member of the MICEX.
As of 01.01.2011, Bank Petrocommerce owned 100% of the share capital of Ukhtabank.
Regional Network
As of 01.01.2011, the Bank’s network comprised 5 branches, 13 additional offices, 70 ATMs and 198 POS-terminals located in the following towns of the Komi Republic: Ukhta, Usinsk, Sosnogorsk, Syktyvkar, Inta, Pechora and Vorkuta.
Business Profile
The Bank holds licences for the carrying out of all banking operations with funds denominated in roubles and foreign currency on the domestic and international markets provided for by the Federal Law ‘On Banks and Banking‘, broker, dealer and depositary activities on the securities market and securities management.
The core business areas of Ukhtabank include complex services for corporate clients, including settlement services and payroll projects, as well as banking and financial services for individuals.
As at year-end 2010, the Bank’s customer base comprised over 3,000 corporate clients, 91,500 individual depositors and about 6,000 retail borrowers.
Business Volumes
As of 01.01.2011, the Bank’s assets amounted to RUR 7.0 bln, the loan portfolio stood at RUR 5.0 bln, including the retail loan portfolio of RUR 0.6 bln, and the customer accounts and deposits reached RUR 5.1 bln.
