Stavropolpromstroybank is a small financial institution by Russian standards – it ranks 256th among Russia’s largest banks by net assets (as of 01.01.2011, by RBC.Rating); however, it is one the largest banks of the Stavropol region.
It came into being in December 1991 as a result of re-registration of Commercial Bank STAVROPOLYE (registration ¹1288). Since 2003, Stavropolpromstroybank has been a subsidiary of Bank Petrocommerce. In 2004, the Bank became a member of the mandatory deposit insurance system (registration ¹195 dated 18.11.2004). In 2005, the Bank obtained the status of an Associate Member of VISA International.
Stavropolpromstroybank is a member of the Association of Regional Banks ROSSIYA, the Association of Russian Banks, the National Stock Exchange Association, the National Commodity Exchange (section of standard contracts for cereal crops, leguminous and technical plants).
As of 01.01.2011, Bank Petrocommerce owned 86.05% of the share capital of Stavropolpromstroybank.

As of 01.01.2011, the Bank’s network comprised 5 branches, 15 additional offices, 84 ATMs and 214 POS-terminals located in the cities and towns of the Stavropol region.

Business Profile
The Bank holds licences for the carrying out of banking operations with funds denominated in roubles and foreign currency, individual deposit taking and broker, dealer and depositary activities on the securities market.
The key client categories of the Bank comprise small and medium-sized enterprises and individuals (employees of the corporate clients using payroll services).
As at year-end 2010, the Bank’s customer base comprised over 15,000 corporate clients, 83,000 individual depositors and about 2,800 retail borrowers.
The core business areas of Stavropolpromstroybank include complex services for corporate clients, lending to companies from the real sector of the economy and employees of corporate clients, and development of payment technologies.
Business Volumes
As of 01.01.2011, the Bank’s assets amounted to RUR 6.6 bln, the loan portfolio stood at RUR 1.9 bln, including the retail loan portfolio of RUR 0.8 bln, and the customer accounts and deposits reached RUR 5.7 bln.
