Bank Petrocommerce-Ukraine is the successor of JSCB Aviatekbank founded on 26 September 1996 on the basis of the Kiev branch of Russian Joint-Stock Commercial Bank Aeroflot (Russia, Moscow). The Bank has been operating under the Petrocommerce brand since 2002. The Bank has been a member of Visa International since 2002.
As at year-end, the Bank ranked 95th by assets among 175 Ukrainian banks.
As of 01.01.2011, the control stake in Bank Petrocommerce-Ukraine was owned by Bank Petrocommerce (90.06%).
Regional Network
As of 01.01.2011, the Bank’s network comprised 17 offices and 45 ATMs in 10 regions of the Ukraine, located mainly in the south and east of the country in such cities as Kiev, Kalush, Lvov, Zaporozhye, Donetsk, Sevastopol, Simferopol, Sudak, Alushta, Odessa, Nikolayev, Kharkov and Poltava.
Business Profile
The Bank holds licences for the carrying out of banking operations as well as broker, dealer, depositary and underwriter activities on the securities market and securities management.
The core business areas of the Bank include services for corporate clients, while the retail business is developing, first of all, as an instrument for servicing employees of corporate customers and raising term liabilities.
As at year-end 2010, the Bank’s customer base comprised about 2,000 corporate clients, over 1,500 individual depositors and about 5,000 retail borrowers.
Business Volumes
As of 01.01.2011, the Bank’s assets amounted to UAH 950.4 mln, the loan portfolio stood at UAH 593.5 mln, including the retail loan portfolio of UAH 84.2 mln, and the customer accounts and deposits reached UAH 645.2 mln.
